Paul and I got to the Park Ave Fest early so we could snag a table at Jines, my favorite breakfast spot in Rochester. Orange marmelade french toast stuffed with cream cheese … fritattas… yum. Anyway we met Kim and Brian and their new friend of theirs. I love meeting new people but I dread the question, ”What do you do?” Tell someone you’re a librarian and you’ll see what I mean. No one knows what we do; they think we all just hole up in a corner and read romance novels when we’re not stamping the s*** out of date due cards.
I am so happy to read articles like this one. It’s filled with people who know exactly what we do and, this is the kicker, want to do it themselves. Woo-hoo!
